Milan Set to Make Opening Bid for Giménez

Santiago Giménez might make a move to AC Milan during this transfer window. The Rossoneri have shown interest for quite some time, and according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Milan is now considering making a concrete offer. Giménez himself is reportedly interested in joining the Italian giants.

Milan Set to Make Opening Bid for Giménez

AC Milan has had Giménez on their radar for a while. The Serie A club, as per Romano, is preparing an initial bid to test Feyenoord’s willingness to negotiate. However, the Dutch club seems reluctant to let their striker leave mid-season. The same goes for Dávid Hancko, who has attracted interest from Juventus.

The amount of Milan’s opening bid remains unknown, but it is clear that Giménez is open to the transfer. “AC Milan is keen to try, especially since the player has expressed interest,” says Romano. Nonetheless, Milan might need to offer a substantial amount for the Mexican forward, who recently impressed in a match against Bayern Munich.

The Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport had earlier reported that bids around forty million would prompt Feyenoord to consider selling. Such an offer would set a new transfer record for the club. With Giménez under contract at Feyenoord until mid-2027, Dennis te Kloese can demand a significant price.
