Published on

Serie A has seen significant trades among top-tier clubs this season, potentially reshaping the league’s hierarchy. Below are some of the most recent transactions from this summer.

Udinese Sign Iker Bravo from Bayer Leverkusen

Udinese has announced the acquisition of Iker Bravo for 10 million euros from Bayer Leverkusen in a deal that lasts until 30 June 2028.

Bravo spent last season on loan at Real Madrid Castilla, netting 20 goals in 25 matches. He has been a standout in Spain’s youth teams, with 11 goals in 14 appearances at the under-11 level. This past summer, he was named ‘MVP’ of the U19 European Championship, scoring vital goals against Denmark in the group stage and France in the final.

At just 19 years old, Bravo is a promising talent for the future and is expected to be a key player for Udinese for many years. Despite his youth, anticipate him to get substantial playing time this season.

Daniel Maldini Moves Permanently to Monza from AC Milan

AC Monza has confirmed the permanent signing of Daniel Maldini following a transfer agreement with AC Milan. The attacking midfielder spent part of last season on loan at Empoli before moving to Monza. He netted four goals in 11 appearances during his brief stint with the team, showing promise.

Maldini’s contract runs until 30 June 2026, with an option for renewal based on certain conditions. Although the transfer fee details have not been disclosed, sources indicate AC Milan received little to no payment upfront.

They have nevertheless secured a 50% resale clause, entitling them to half of any future sale proceeds that Monza might obtain.

This transfer should benefit Maldini in terms of playing time, as he would have faced tough competition for regular starts with Milan, given the many options available on both wings.

AC Milan Acquire Strahinja Pavlovic From Salzburg

AC Milan bolstered their squad with the signing of Serbian defender Strahinja Pavlovic from Fußballclub Red Bull Salzburg. The contract extends until 30 June 2028, with an option for an additional year.

The 23-year-old Strahinja came through the youth system at Partizan Belgrade, making his first team debut in February 2019. Over two seasons with Partizan, he made 57 appearances, scored 2 goals, and was instrumental in their Serbian Cup victory.

Following his time at Partizan, Pavlovic played for Monaco, Cercle Brugge, and Basel before joining Red Bull Salzburg. During this period, he accumulated a total of 71 appearances, scored six goals, and helped his team clinch the Austrian Bundesliga title. He also faced Milan in the Champions League.

On the international front, Pavlovic has earned 38 caps and netted four goals for the Serbian national team. He has been a consistent starter for his country in recent years and participated in the European Championship in Germany this summer.

AC Milan Loan Lorenzo Colombo to Empoli

AC Milan announced the loan of Lorenzo Colombo to Empoli, with an option to buy included in the deal.

Colombo, a product of Milan’s youth academy, made his professional debut for the Rossoneri at the age of 18.

Just a month after joining Bologna, he made his debut in Serie A.

Last season, Colombo represented Monza, making 25 appearances and netting four goals for the team. Approaching the new year, he faced challenges maintaining his fitness, which affected his performance. Should he remain healthy, his impact at Empoli could be significant.
