History of Dan Sserunkuma
Dan Sserunkuma was born On December 14, 1993. Since he was a child, he has shown a great passion for football.
He attended St Mary’s school as other famous Ugandan football players, like Eric Obua, David Obua, Ibrahim Juma, and many more.
After that, when he was 10, he joined Friends of Football Academy when he was 10 years of age. Majid Musisi, the greatest Ugandan footballer, was one of the legends that always inspired him.
Dan Sserunkuma In Kenya
Dan started his professional career by joining the Uganda national team Express FC in 2008. After one year with Express FC, he moved to Victors FC and stayed there for the next two years.
In 2011, he made his first move towards Kenya and joined the Premier League club Nairobi City Stars. He stayed until 05/2012.
After a year and a half, Dan Sserunkuma moved to another Kenyan football club, Gor Mahia FC. Therefore, 2013 was a lucky year for him after helping his team secure the Kenyan Premier League title for the first time.
Additionally, he ended the 2012 season by scoring 17 goals and numerous assists. As a result, he received an award and was named the 2012 KPL Player of the Year.
Gor Mahia won the National League for the first time after 18 years, thanks to Dan, who scored in all the last ten games in the 2013 league.
Moreover, he won another unique award and was named the top goal scorer in the 2014 Kenyan Premier League, with a total of 16 goals.
After a year with the Armenian football club, Ulisses, he joined another Kenyan football club, Bandari FC, in 2016.
Again, his most significant achievements from 2011-2014 are as follows:

Dan Sserunkuma International Career
One of his early moves towards International teams was during 2011-2012 after he played for Nairobi City Stars and Gor Mahia. As we mentioned above, he won outstanding awards and titles.
In November 2013, he made a transfer application, expressing his wish to join the Armenian Premier League club FC Banants. This year was also a lucky one for him after winning the USPA Player of the Year 2013 title.
Soon after, he received his first national team call-up to join the Ugandan Cranes. However, during the debut match against Rwanda, he managed to score one penalty shoot.
Next, in December 2014, he joined the Tanzanian football club, Simba. He ended his contract with the club five months later in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Also, during the World Cup qualification in the same year, he didn’t score any goals. Unfortunately, this wasn’t expected from him after all these titles he won in the past years of his career.
Shortly after that, he signed a two-year contract with the Armenian side Ulisses in 2015. As months went by, he came back and joined his first football club, where he started his football career, Express FC.
After all these moves and significant events, he participated in, from the World Cup qualification to FKF Premier League, the 2018 year was promising. He started the year by joining the national football club Vipers SC.
During the 2018/2019 season, Dan helped Vipers SC take second place in the league with 13 goals scored in 21 matches. Once again, he won the Uganda Premier League top scorer title.
